Knowledge Sharing Session

IIDS had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the Oxford Diplomatic Society for an engaging knowledge sharing session. The program featured thematic presentations from IIDS team members, offering valuable insights into the organization’s work and Nepal’s broader developmental context.

Dr. Biswash Gauchan, Executive Director, presented on Nepal's unique presence in South Asia, exploring its geopolitical significance and regional dynamics. Mr. Shreesh Tripathi, Junior Research Assistant, discussed the prospects of diaspora engagement for Nepal’s advancement, highlighting opportunities for national development through global Nepali networks. Ms. Dilasha Joshi, Senior Program and Research Assistant, shared an overview of IIDS' initiative, 'Himalayan NetZero', which aims to chart a strategic pathway for Nepal towards sustainable economic growth and global leadership in climate action.

The session served as a platform for meaningful exchange and highlighted IIDS' ongoing commitment to research, policy dialogue, and international collaboration.
